I am a Fashion Revolution Ambassador...
Started out by interning at Disco Make events in London and now I hope to make an impact in Nottingham by setting up similar events at my university.
Passionate about Ocean Pollution...
I created a series of four protest outfits using recycled rope, net and swimming costumes. I 'drowned' my model in a swimming pool, to simulate what happens to marine life when our rubbish ends up in their ocean.

A group protest to raise awareness of ocean pollution. As we travelled around Kingston, we collected the rubbish on our bodies, making the public aware of how much litter there is and what it is doing to our planet.

And Recycling...
A group project creating fashion out of trash, to gain an understanding of silhouette and up-cycling. Proving that even trash can be beautiful and recycling is very important within this industry.
A collection of bottle tops I found discarded around the Thames, a lake in France and on the street. I created this into a textile by attaching onto some mesh, to stop it from being wasted and sent to landfill.
|
I created a weave of scrap neoprene and broken plastic bags, to prevent waste. Recycling into a multipurpose top, demonstrating that scrap materials can be reused and not just thrown away.
